You may not need to purchase a women's bike. A lot of women are fine on a unisex bike but it depends from person to person. If you like the look of the bike then speak to your local Evans Cycles store and they'll get one in for you for a test ride.

Question

Is it a strong and stiff frame, is the chainstrays long or short, is there mount points for the front, good handeling under load?

This bike is made from a robust grade of Aluminium and will prove to be stiff. Given the tensile strength of Aluminium, it will not be as strong as Steel. The frame also has the geometry of a typical touring bike and will have long chainstays for comfort which can in turn make the bike trickier to handle under load dependent on the riders competences.
