This is an ANT+ certified HRM , however they are designed to work with Garmin products and not guaranteed with third party devices

Can I cordially suggest that the Evans Cycles' staff answering questions about ANT+ devices read this:
and other pages from this site such that they understand what this de jure standard is all about. ANT+ accreditation of a device guarantees interoperability - that's its raison d'être after all!!!
Furthermore, 'guessing' and speculating about answers to specific questions - something which is occurring waaaay to often - is utterly pointless and affords the questioner no confidence whatsoever, either in Evans Cycles OR the advice proffered and will, ergo, likely not return a sale.
This 'answer' will probably not get published as it is not simply answering a question, it is somewhat critical of Evans' staff ... and that's just not allowed, even if they are wrong!
Well, that is up to you, the person reviewing this response; however, if you're not prepared to edit the response such that your (potential) customers receive a fact-based response, then I suggest you simply circulate this correspondence around the office such that Evans' Support Staff better understand what it is prospective customers are enquiring about, in this case an effective standard all-but-guaranteeing interoperability.
Food for thought, one would hope!?
