This should be a great frame for you, im 5ft 10'' and this frame in 21'' is brill for me i suggest the 20.5 for you....

Depends on your personal preferences, i bought this frame and it is fantastic to ride and looks sweet, th kl40 is used fairly often, go for something different?
This also has a higher stand-over hight therefore giving you the clearance and control over the bike you need.

Yes this will work. The size stated is the top tube so it will be slightly longer than your current set up

Its a good idea to get your bearing cups pressed instead of using a hammer, if you use a hamemr you can damage the bearings resulting in play in the cranks.
