yes you get a bike mount along with charger, car charger, software, and a few other bits and pieces. You have to change the battery cover on the back for the one that is also in the box but which clips into the bike mount that you secure to the handlebars. easy to do!

You get a full set of accesories including - [1] Alternative back for GPS unit to allow it to fit to bike bracket. [2] Bike bracket - fixes to bike using 2 cable ties (looks flimsey, but worked well for me!). [3] Hard back carrying case - good quality. [4] Flexible rubber sleeve - snuggly fits over GPS unit (even with alternative(larger) back fitted) - good quality. [5] USB connection cable - for PC (you can charge unit using this but it's slower). [6] Mains Adaptor with 3pin (UK) & 2pin (Shaver socket) adaptors. [7] Car charger. [8] Metal clip

The standard Memory-Map OS Landranger maps have a search index for place names or you can use OS Grid References.

You'd need to add the optional European SatNav card which gives in-car turn by turn voice directions for street level maps across Europe which would then also give you post code look-up.

Currently, the Memory Map software which is provided for mapping routes on your computer is not Mac compatible. I am sure they will be looking into compatability for the future as it is such a growing market but as of yet, there is nothing I'm afraid!

Yes, it works fine with a Mac (at least a recent Intel one). If you have access to the Mac App Store you can download Garmin Basecamp ready and check it out - not sure how far you'll get without the bike computer hooked up via USB, but at least you'll be sure the software runs.
'Ascent' is worth a look on the Mac if you don't like the feel of Garmin's upload/training analysis software.

The Memory-Map software itself will not run on mac OS, but can be run on a mac under Bootcamp. Memory-Map do not however support its use.

The Trailzilla application is web based, and as such can be used on a mac in order to transfer data to and from the ADV3500.

This means that both answers are correct.
