I note it has a steel frame. is adams bringing out the same version but alloy?

do you know how it compares in weight with the avenir tag 300(the alloy 6 speed)?
Do you know why they don't make it in an alloy version?

No, currently Adams do not produce a 20" wheel 7 speed Trail-a-Bike in an alloy framed version I'm afraid. The cheaper single speed version is the highest volume seller, which I guess is why they offer more options (such as the alloy frame version) in this format. I don't have data on weights of the Avenir Tag 300 I'm afraid, as we do not import this brand, but I can give you some Adams weights that you may find useful: Adams Shifter 7 Steel: 26 lbs, Adams Original Folder 1 Single Speed (Steel): 23.5 lbs, Adams Original Folder 1 Single Speed (Alloy): 20.5 lbs.
