The inside of the case is lined with silicon for shock resistance. The Bike Mount pivots so you can use your iPhone in portrait or landscape mode. A membrane protected opening for the camera lens lets you take video or pictures while you ride. Fully compatible with the BioLogic ReeCharge. (iPhone not included).

It's not marketed as iPhone 4 compatible, no. However, I use it with my iPhone4 and it works absolutely fine - it fits in the device, all the holes line up and you can plug your earbuds in and everything.

So, in short, yes.

Not specifically, but it does fit and seems secure enough. I am hopeful that an iPhone 4 specific insert will be available soon.

No. some people are using it with the iPhone4 but it does not fit securely and Dahon do not recommend using it.

Not recommended for off-road ?

It's concerning that the holder isn't recommended for off-road use, many of the UK roads are pot hole riddled and are often worse than off road trails.

Is it really a secure product ?

This is a bit of a grey area for me personally.As you may know off road courses vary up and down the country.I went to camberly forest in county durahm (wicked course) about three years ago,all i would say judging by that course, dont!!!

It is a secure product. The way it attaches is similar to a cable tie, except it's tightened up with an Allen key. I've used it on UK roads and it's held up fine.

The product is not recommended for off road use because of the extreme nature of some off road terrain.

This product is however suitable for use on UK roads even though they have pot holes..

It depends if the ipod touch is the same width and length as an Iphone so it will fit securely inside the mount safely.

They don't fit very well, they will go in but it doesn't secure very well so I wouldn't recommend it

Will you be getting/do you have the newer version which has the larger hinge down the length of the case and stronger catch?
