They will take your paint of in the end but not as fast as normal pads

All painted rims will suffer paint deteriation on the sidewall when used with breaks. However clear brake pads reduce the effects of this but eventually if used on a coloured rim, the finish will come off. Hope this helps.

hi there, all new pads sweak, and if set up correctly, then yes, you will stop pretty sharp-ish.

Hello
If you adjust the brake blocks correctly meaning toe the front of the block so it hits the rim first this should elimenate the squeeking noise and they are fantastic blocks.
