I just thought there could be some problems with it because the fitting seems funny and the brake pad on it atm (the grey ones with the bike) aren't very good and they have scratched the paint off the rims. Also if they get wet the rims get grey deposit on them presumably from the brake pads

These pads will fit the brake on your bike, and are a softer compound, so should be kinder to your rims. Hope this helps.

Yes. Clear pads are designed to work with coloured anodized rims, such as yours.

If you toe the pads outwards (swap them round from right to left) and make them close to your rim they will squeak

They will fit a WTP Arcade just fine. With regards to how loud they are, the only reason why a brake pad should be loud and squeaky is if it is wet, or incorrectly fitted. The reason they squeak is because if the pad hits the rim completely flat they vibrate with a very high frequency and therefore sound like they are squeaking. Pads are supposed to touch the rim one end slightly before another, this will eliminate squeaking and provide more braking power.

Would you reccommend this brake pad to stop coloured rim streaking? I would like to purchase if so, but I mean by the looks of things they squeak? Why is that and how could I stop it?

YES they will SLOW down the paint rubbing off but all pads rub. Yes they squeak but its worth it and it is only a little. not sure how to stop squeaks.

Clear brake pads will prolong the life of the paint/finish of your rim from being worn away during braking. Clear brake pads do sqeek alot when they are wearing in, but this stops after a little while. Hope this helps.

just a like 1 - 3mm fatter. look at the Xposure pad not to bad and cheap

Yes this will fit your BMX fine also it will delay the scratching of the paint on the rims but in the long run the paint will come of over time as its impossible to stop it
