Question

Changing the battery

When you change the battery on these do they store the information like your total miles traveled on the Odometer or is it wiped clean?

When you remove the batteries all data will be lost. However when you insert the new batteries you are able to re-enter the odometer and trip time data accumulated up to the battery replacement.

It is important to keep a record of this data, as well as the wheel circumferences before removing the old battery.

This sensor will only work on the front forks , the transmitter to the main unit has to be within range and rear stay mounting is too far away .
