Question

Shackle clamp for EaZyKF bracket for Abus Granit 53D lock

Will one of the shackle clamps for the EaZyKF bracket fit the Abus Granit 53D lock? Both the Granit 54 and Granit 53D have a 13mm shackle; will the shackle clamp for the Granit 54 fit the Granit 53?

The USH bracket supplied with the 53 will not be appropriate for my bike, a tandem, as there are limited fitting positions and I need a sold secure gold lock.

Hi,

Yes the following clamp will work with the Granit 53 as both it and the Granit 51 have a 13mm round shackle. you will have to cut the outer casing from the Granit 53 and slide on the shackle clamp and also purchase the EaZyKF bracket.

104636-NA-NA, Black, Granit 51

If you need both the clamp and the bracket I would suggest looking at buying the Granit 54 which comes supplied with the EaZyKF bracket and is Gold Sold Secure.
