Why does sold secure website not show this lock?
I was going to buy this lock but since it's not in the safe secure lock list my insurance company will not cover my bike. This page says that the lock is rated gold, where is that information coming from?

I find it difficult to imagine that this lock is not listed as it's almost bomb proof! Are you sure it's not listed under a different model number?

The details on the Evans website is incorrect. You are correct, this is not SoldSecure Gold rated.
The "New York Disc Lock" (https://www.kryptonitelock.com/OutletProducts/Products/ProductDetail.aspx?cid=1000&scid=1003&pid=1142) also here as proof (http://www.soldsecure.com/search///new-york-disc-lock-2.html) is Gold rated.
These are normally for motorcycles as disc locks or bundled with the Fahgettaboudit 1410(100cm) / 1415 (150cm) chain and lock.

Check with the bike shop, they'll know. I am pretty sure it's safe secure listed- but could be wrong. The lock is so well built, I can't imagine anyone stealing your bike with this attached.

No these are the external dimensions top to bottom and left to right.
