Question
How are you meant to install it?
I bought this chain from you, and from what I can tell it's the worlds most ridiculous system, with instructions written by a child on drugs.
I took off my old bike chain in 30 seconds, spent an hour trying to put on the new on, possibly broke the strange little screw pipe thing, then took it off, and put my old chain on in 30 seconds.
Nice colour - ridiculous system.

answer 3
Offer the two ends of the chain to each other, keeping the pin screwed together push the pin into the links, then using a chain splitter force the end of the pin which in protruding from the chain into place this will then push the end which you unscrew out the other end of the link. Unscrew this part of the pin, keep it as a spare. Check to make sure the link isn't stiff, if it is put the link back onto the splitter and gently 'touch' the pin this will, in most cases, relieve the link making sure you have enough of the pin showing from the outer plate.

I must admit had same problem getting it on.In the end took it to our local bike center who said because of the sturdeeness of the chain it was harder to do the links.since then though had no problems just takes a little longer than normal.Think the colour over the links don't help.

answer 6
Yes, I used a chain tool and i read the instructions (not that the instructions made any sense at all).
The chain comes with a pin that is in two sections and screws together, but the instructions give a very strange example of how to force it through.
After going into Evans, none of them understood the instructions either, or how the pin would go in without snapping the inner thread.
One of the people in Evans had put one on his BMX and just took the pin almost completely out, but still with the end in the chain, then rejoined it like a normal non-fast chain.
Ridiculous system.
