Yes it's very easy to remove the lights (just a pin to press), it's also easy to detach the support and re-mount it when you want.

Yes. There is a plastic mount that is fixed onto the bike. The lights are then easily clipped / unclipped from the mount.
The mounts are also easy to remove if you only want them on there during the winter months.

yes you attach a little frame for the light to your bike, and the light slides in and out of the frame in seconds, really easy to remove.

the frame would take longer to remove but once you have fitted it i cant see why you would need to remove it anyway

yes they are. they slide and click into place and are remove by pressing a lever and sliding the light section out of the 'bracket' which is attcahed to your bike.

These lights have rubber sealing throughout making them waterproof enough for winter showers and summer rain. But if you're going for a dip in the sea? Look for something else.

The rear one has a rubber seal, but the front one didn't appear to, however they do fit together quite snugly, so I suspect as long as you don't dunk them in the sink you'll be ok.

are the fittings on this expandable to go on to a carbon frame

The lights I have also cateye fit onto my carbon road bike but the rear light will not fit on my carbon Scott Sclae hardtail mountain bike

The lights come with two sizes of clamps so they should fit a range of handlebar sizes.
