The 705 comes with the cadence sensor, there are no extra purchases required with this gps unit. I have one, it's fantastic.

When you get it check out www.Garmin-connect.com, it's a site where you can upload and share your rides/performance and search and download other users rides.

Hi, I'm afraid that Cyprus is just outside of the covered area of the City Europe included map. You can, however, purchase additional maps directly from Garmin's website.

The box contains the Edge 705 unit, the City Navigator NT-Europe map, an Instruction Manual, the Heart Rate sender and strap and the Cadence sender and magnet. There's also a charger for the unit and all necessary cables to allow connection to your computer and a bike mount to allow the unit to be mounted to either the handlebars or stem.

Hi

The item has a candeance sensor, heart rate strap, two bar mounts, a micro sd card for the maps and the gps unit.

Unfortunatly it doesn't cover Cyprus.

Hi, I'm afraid Cyprus is just outside of the area covered by the City Navigator NT-Europe map.

Additional maps can be purchased directly from Garmin's website and, indeed, a detailed map displaying the area covered by the included software is available there.

Hi

I have looked around for a list of countries, but I have not been able to find an exhaustive list that is included in this model. I have checked the one I have and Cyprus isn't on there.

The device has a memory card that hasball the countries on it, I believe you can buy more cards and Garmin cover the whole world.

Yes. I use Bike route Toaster which is based on Google maps. Put the route in and then down load to your Garmin

Yes it is compatible but we don't have a package deal on it so you will just have to buy the two seperatly. We don't sell the powertap so you will have to get it from somewhere else. I can recommend you to have a look at the Garmin Edge 800, maybe it has all you need.

Hi, 'yes' it is possible to purchase additional USB and mini USB plugs and cables.

Unfortunately, this is not something that we stock so my recommendation would be to go to an electrical supplier such as PC World who should have these in stock.

Hi, the Garmin website says that the City Navigator-Europe map has now been upgraded to include detailed maps of Malta.

That said, the version that ships with the product that we are supplying is the 2009 version of the software which does not include Malta. It is possible however to upgrade via the Garmin website and also to purchase additional maps directly from Garmin

will this gps work with Anquet maps?

I have an Anquet Gt. Britain map on my PC which I use with a Garmin Etrex. This works fine for cycling but with this system I'm limited with only 500 waypoints (2 days navigated cycling).
I can't use it for longer than 2 days without carrying a laptop around with me.
Please tell me the best Garmin cycling GPS to use with an Anquet map loading at least 5 days of navigation @ approx. 125 waypoints per day.

What map and version of the City Navigator NT ships with this product?

I know from the title it says microSD, but there is actually many different City Navigator NT products covering different maps/regions. Can you confirm the following items that will ship with this product:

1) What map (Europe, or UK & Ireland, or other)?
2) What version of the map (Currently its 2011.40), and
3) What is the Garmin part number for the map product (e.g. 010-106xx-yy)?

We do not have the part number and it is the most up to date version of the UK and Ireland maps that are sent out with this product.
