Small or medium, depending on how big the 13 year old is, but for something as crucial as a helmet (you really do need to get the perfect size)i would highly recommend visiting a store and trying a few on, then if you couldn;t find the one you wanted you could order it.

Unfortunately, in our experience 13yr old heads tend to vary greatly in size. TSG offer 2 sizes - small/medium, and large/extra large, the size changing dependant on the padding being changed (an alternative set is provided). For the best fit, please visit one of our branches, or if shopping via mail order, the item can be returned should it be the wrong size.
