Could be a few things. You can expect a little noise from it but is the chain installed the right way round? The curve of the link should match your sprocket. Have you put enough oil on?

Also, is the noise coming from the chain and not your driver? (back cog). Take your bike to a store and have one of them listen to it, they'll be able to tell you for sure.

I myself haven't had this problem with this chain however the reason your chain could be making a "weird noise" could me because of many factors, theses include:
*Having your chain too tight
*Having your chain too lose
*Plates in the links becoming lose

answer 6
Hi there buddy, i've got the same chain on my bike. I think they are the best bmx chains, however, when you first fit it, it will need to 'bed in'. It will need to stretch out ever so slightly for the links to runs smooth, once it does that, you shouldn't no other problems with the chain. If you're still hearing a noise or find its gritty when pedalling, there may be a small chance it could be your bottom bracket. I would suggest bringing it in to any local Evans and we could have a look at it for you. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

you need to look after it more so than if it was raw because if it gets rusty the main way to get rust off is with a wire brush. so a coloured chain just use GT85 or WD40 and a cloth every couple of days or whenever you feel it needs it and it will stay nice and clean :)

answer 2
Coloured chains are best lubed from the inside to the outside so they do not lose there colour. But you will need to lube this when you get it.

Yes it does, you'll need a high quality chain breaker to break this tho, shadow have their own one which I recommend.

Pretty much any chain will size up to the sprocket, what you need to look out for is driver size (rear cog) if you're running under a 10 tooth driver you'll more than likely need a half link chain, like this one.

I've been riding for many years and this is the only chain I trust.

Hello,

The rollers in between the links will always be slighlty loose, when the chain has a fair amount of wear then these rollers will become very loose and start to rattle.
