Anybrake is good for skidding aslong as they are set correctly but if you skid you will need alot of tyres and pads

is it possible to mount this brake in a sidepull setup?

What I mean is so that the brake cable doesn't has to be split up in two like the usual bmx rear brake setup or cantilever setup

Not sure what you mean by rubbing , perhaps they just need a clean and lube around the pivot point .

I would suggest adjusting the rear brake cable tension or if you have a Evans cycles store near to you have them adjust the rear brake for you?
