answer 2
Plastic mount. Glass mirror. Velcro strap (road bike version). Rubber coated adjuster nut. Fairly stiff if that's what you wanted to know. Absorbs road vibration quite well.

Question

Will this mirror fit handle bars that are of the old style, ie curved, not straight?

My bike is electric so the left handle grip is like a throttle. I am not sure if the handle grips are too far back to be able to see in the mirror. If this mirror is no good, can anyone suggest a glass (not plastic) mirror that would be suitable, please.

I have used this on a flat bar and now on drops on a folding bike. If the bar ends are in front of your head you should find a way of positioning the mirror. The bar end can be rotated through 360 degrees and the arm swivels through 180 degrees and then the mirror is on a further flexible mount. Once in position its simple to tighten the fittings which still allow adjustment as you ride.

It will fit but it may well be too far back.

Why not use a helmet mirror?
