im afraid its not possible to fit child seats onto full suspension bikes.

I doubt it very much.

You need to see if you can attach a rear pannier rack (Blackburn EX1) to your bike. Do you have holes on the rear fork for a rack to attach to?

this childs seat fits on via a supplier rear pannier rack; full suspension mountain bikes do not have these, so the seat would not fit

Sorry but as far as I am aware there is not such a thing.

No, i'm afraid we only sell single mounted seats that go on the seat tube or rack mounted, neither of these will fit a full suspension mountain bike.

we would recommend the child to be around 12 months upwards before using a child seat.

There is no specific rules. This quote is taken from seat manual:
"Child must be old enough to sit upright without assistance.
Consult your pediatrician before carrying any child".

My wife and I both have Blackburn EX1 rear racks attached to our bikes, (one came with the seat and the other was purchased with mounting screws for about £35).

We share the nursery collection / deposit duties for our daughter needed to be able to detach the seat for this reason.

The seats are a little tricky to remove but once you have done it a few times, you will get the knack I am sure.

I'm sorry the rack that comes with this child seat will not fit onto the bike with disc brakes.

Unfortunately there will be a problem with that. Rack provided with the seat does not fit with disc brakes - it is not wide enough to fit over disc calipper. Also Fuji Taho Pro 2010 does not have bolts on the frame to hold the rack. There is a way round it - either a P-clips or a special seat clamp (see products attached).
Alternatively you can purchase different seat like Hamax - on the carrierbow frame or Topeak - which comes with disc specific rack but unfortunately out of stock at the moment.

i have one of these child seats and they are fantastic!
the seat slots into the top of the rack andare very secure itsa little tricky to explain so if you have a evans store located near to you i would advise calling in and they will be able to show you how its fits.
