Yep, one complete unit, uses an internal cartridge which houses 4 AA size batteries

one complete light. 4 AA batteries mount inside a bracket inside the light itself. Very neat.

The battery pack is seperate and is sealed tightly in place by the air tight rear cap. I have had no water leakage into the chamber whatsoever.

it's a complete unit - it runs on 4x AA batteries (normal or rechargable) which fit in a cradle inside the unit, there is no external battery.

a google search indicates that, yes, the mount can be purchased separately, though not from Evans Cycles.

Yes it does - the bracket is oversized and comes with large and small diameter rubber inserts.
