Various brackets are made by Cateye. One or more will fit a carrier. The lamp comes with a small assortment but if one won't do for your carrier there is a suitable one that can be purchased from Evans.

It would be difficult to get this to fit a thin, roadbike seat stay, you might manage with a MTB?

answer 4
No. Unless your seat stays are massive that is. I used the smaller of the two supplied brackets on my 27.2mm seat post. There is a larger one and a semi-permanent job for fixing to a rack. In any case, the light itself is so big you won't want it on your stay.

Hi,

Although this light isn't certified as waterproof, it is subjected to some of the toughest quality control tests in the industry which include very stringent waterproof testing. So although not waterproof it is good enough for a Brtish winter.

I'm afraid that I can't recomend any waterproof rear lights.

Thanks

answer 3
Most cycle lights these days are water resistant unless they specify being fully waterproof. However even with fully waterproof lights you find that water gets inside the light in the form of condensation.
This means drying them off after a shower and every so often leaving them open in a warm dry place so the moisture can evapoarate.
You will find this happens to all lights.
I would recommend choosing a budget set of lights and look after them with regular maintenance.

AA's, and it can take rechargeables, although as it is high-powered I'd go for high level new ones.

The batteries are included with this light, it takes the same batteries as a watch, hence it doesn`t take rechargeables.
