Depending on the height of the bars, if its up around 8 inches, you may want to go for the larger size as 28" is quite wide.

Hello,

The size of the cable really depends on what size handlebars you have, any bars with a 7.75 rise and under you will need the small cable and any bars with a higher rise will need the medium version.
