Customer questions and answers for Kingfisher Big Foot Adjustable Propstand Large

Question

I've just purchased a Specialized Sport Hardrock 2011 mountain bike which doesn't come with a kickstand. Would this fit or be too long?

The Specialized Hardrock 2011 mountain bike has no hole in the frame so it clearly needs a kickstand with a bracklet so it can be bolted to the frame.

This should be ok as long as there is a space between the chainstays for the bolt to pass through to clamp the 2x halves of the bracket together.

answer 3
Hi

you are correct; a bracket is the right option for your bike and this stand will definitely be long enough to support your bike.

Thanks

answer 2
Unfortunately not. The stand is long enough to support the bike. but due to the oversized chainstays found on the YZ3 this stand would not fit.

Quick release wheels should not create a problem. The propstand fits behind the bottom bracket between the stays, so the frame should be solid enough there to take the strain of the bolting on.

Question

I've got a 2006 Scott Scale 50 which I need to find a kickstand for; would this stand fit?

I'm using the bike for a long-distance tour, so far I've bought 2 stands and neither fit. The first fit on the rear triangle, however their was not enough space for the stand's bracket; the rear brake disk got in the way. The second stand had a bracket which was steel and perfectly round, however because the frame is an oval shape this did not fit either.
