I would say in 'mono'bells its a PING PING. It does the job unless the person is wearing headphones when a lorry horn would be more appropriate!

Question

Does it sound like a horn or an alarm?

The thunder horn make a sound like a car horn, where the cheaper ones tend to make a woo woo woo sound like an intruder alarm, which is this more like?

Question

How is it with water?

A cheap alarm I bought earlier died the first time it was in the rain. Making things water-tight tends to dampen sound so it is understandable - how's this one with water?

Question

How robust is the fitting?

Having used this horn, it's down side is the fitting which only lasts a couple of months before breaking, I always end up having to improvise with rubber bands that last longer!
