It isn't a lock - just the cable but I wouldn't put it above bronze.

Hi, this item is a cable only, and does not include a locking mechanism. It is intended to be used in conjunction with a lock.

As this is not a lock it does not have a Sold Secure rating.

Could I use this wire in conjunction with a "Abus Granit Lock 1000/80"?

Could I use this wire in conjunction with a "Abus Granit Lock 1000/80"?

(I cannot use a D-lock because of the weird design of my work's bike rack).

As long as the end loop fits round I guess I could, but I want to confirm before I order just incase it does not fit.

Hi, your Abus Granit Lock 1000/80 is approx 25mm in diameter Thr Kytptoflex loops are pear shaped but can be squashed. Reading other websites they say this created an approx 30mm diameter circle. Therefore in theory it should fit but it will be close.

Why don't you take your Abus Granit Lock down to your nearest store to try before buying. Just to be sure.
