It is water resistant. Wired computers are better at the water resistant part than wired computers. I would advise not submersing in water, but gentle rain should be okay.

The computer is water resistant. It's not designed for use under water, but will work without any problems in all weather conditions.

Having just bought this based on the above answer I see that it does not fit to the stem, unless you want to read it horizontally... it is a handlebar mount with no 90degree rotation capability.

Unless I am missing something here, this was not helpful.

Does this have a feature to manually input miles/distance so i can input miles i have already done?

Bike computers do not have a manual data function , they only record information when used with a wheel sensor .
