answer 1
Yes. I have mounted one and am buying another. It's a super gadget for the money and gives you floor clearance. You don't need a masonry fixing, the wood in the shed is fine but fix it to one of the internal supports/strapping. Depending on the shed they'll be a good 40mm deep.

answer 4
Normally, this bracket is intended to be fitted to something more solid like a brick wall of a garage, and is supplied with fittings suitable for this application.

I guess it would ultimately depend on the construction of your particular shed, but I would imagine that in the vast majority of cases, a wooden shed wall would not be strong enough to use this and would probably both damage the shed and fail I'm afraid.

answer 5
Hi,
The fittings normally supplied with this type of bracket generally require a reasonable depth of wall to be attached to so as to ensure a secure fit.
Thanks

On the bracket it says it can take 20kg.

Haven't tested it, but it certainly feels sturdy enough.

I think that would depend on how wide the frame is where the bracket would support it, we use them on a trek hybrid and specialized road bike which both have fairly slim frames.

answer 2
The gap between the 2x hooks is aprox 30cm, so as long as you have a conventional top tube on your bike with at least this much room to accomodate the bracket it should fit.

I have got this rack at home. It is good, but I'm not sure if it will be what you are looking for: you can only hang one bike on this. You will have to buy 5 of them, and your bikes will be hanging on all the walls.

Also, bear in mind that this rack comes with an approx. 10cm long screw, so iif you're buying a shed or other shelter with thin walls then you won't be able to screw this rack into the wall.

In order to save space in your shed, you might want to try something like the Delta Leonardo wall mount or the Topeak One Up, both of these allow you to mount your bikes vertically rather than horizontally.

Hi,

Sounds like an interesting project! I would suggest taking a look at the Delta Leonardo Wall Mount (link below) - this will accommodate almost any bike as it holds the bike by the front wheel - please take a look at the images on the product page that demonstrate this.
