answer 2
These mudguards will fit but, because of their width will look very chunky.
A better choice for you bike would be the SKS Wide Road mudguards (119433), available in black ,silver or white. As they are designed for tyres up to 37mm they will give you all the protection you need, whilst looking 'sleek'.

answer 3
You could go for much thinner mudguards with this bike unless you've put non-standard tyres on this bike. Thinner of this range would be the wide road or you could go for a different brand.

Hi there, I think these mudguards will be too wide. However we do carry the thinner ones that hug your wheels more tidyly in store.

Yes, they will fit but may look very wide. I recomend you to get bit thinner ones for Trek 7.5. See my product recomandation below.

answer 6
These would fit on The Trek 7.5fx however they are designed for tyres over 38c so you may want to take a look at the SKS wide road mudguards which are sleeker and more suited to this bike.

answer 1
No, none of the SKS full mudguards fit the Sirrus properly as although they have mudguard eyelets on the fork and chain stays, the seat stay doesn't have the correct holes. You'll need to bodge the fitting, which isn't ideal. If you are ruining under 28mm tyres, the Raceblades are the better option. Otherwise, you'll need to go to B&Q for a longer bolt to go through the front fork as well as cutting off a little bit of the rear mudguard with a hacksaw.

These guards are too wide for the Sirrus.
Use the SKS Narrow Road guards to retain the sleek looks of the bike or the Wide Road guards for full on protection.

answer 5
These are a bit wide - if you have 28mm tyres (most Sirrus bikes do) try the SKS Narrow Road, or if you have wider tyres fitted the SKS Wide Road.

They are a little bit fiddly, but not difficult, to fit - if you want something easier the SKS Raceblades are less fiddly.

Question

Will these squeeze through front fork?

Hi
My bike has 700x35c tire size, but front fork seems to be quite narrow.
As these mudguards are 50 mm wide, would they fit my front fork properly?
Here is a couple photos.
Thanks

answer 3
Certainly looks tight.
I suggest you try the Wide Road version of these mudguards, which should give enough clearance for the 35mm tyre.
Keep the packaging, so that if you find the clearance too tight around the stay brackets you can exchange them for the Hybrid model.
If you do have to fit the Hybrid model, you may need to reduce its width at the fork. I suggest you do this by gently warming it (eg with a hair dryer, NOT a flame!) and holding it in the required shape whilst it cools.

answer 4
Its hard to say it looks quite tight.
Why not pop into the store and ask to test fit them (remove from packaging and slide in between wheel and fork).

answer 2
SKS Hybrid mudguards are designed for a 700c wheel which is a different diameter to the 26" wheel, against which they may look odd.
You don't mention a tyre width, but you should use either the SKS Wide ATB or SKS Narrow ATB. Designed for use with 26" wheels they will be of the correct curvature.

answer 3
Hi
The right SKS mudguards will be sized "ATB" on the website. However, a bike with disc brakes may have some compatibility issues with these mudguards as the brake caliper occupies the same place as the stays for the mudguards and I would suggest using some clip on mudgurds instead.

Question

Help fitting these to Scott Sub 40 2010?

Just bought these as quite a few people including staff members have them fitted on the Scott Sub 40 2010. However, I am struggling to get the rear guard to fit. Once screwed onto the frame the tail end is quite high above the tire while the front end of the guard is nearly touching the tire. Any advice of how to fit these probably?

Thanks

answer 2
With a 32mm tyre the SKS Hybrid mudguard is really too wide (the SKS Wide Road would be adequate and neater) , but there is no reason why it should not fit, and it will give added protection.
It is difficult to say what the problem is without seeing your set up, but it sounds to me as if you need to make some adjustment to the stays (ie slacken the retaining nuts and slide them down the stays. You may also need to adjust their angle in relation to the frame.).
Secure the mudguard at the chainstay bridge before fixing the stays.
If these suggestions do not work can you send photographs to better explain the problem?

Depends on the clearence - see the question posted on this product regarding fitting to a Scott P5. Suggest that you try Halfords who fitted them gratis for me after Evans said they wouldnt fit and wanted to charge £15 fitting fee (if they had been able to fit them)

Yes, but you will need to engineer a lug on the fork legs using p-clips (from your DIY store) or Cateye lamp brackets.
Alternatively use the Crud Urban Racepack, half guards.

For the benefit of anyone else who searchs this query in future, I posted the original question.

My local Evans said that full mudguards couldnt be fitted to this bike but my local Halfords - offering the exact same SKS guards - said they could and so, I bought them from Halfords at the same price as Evans and had them fitted FOR FREE vs. Evans £15 charge.

They fit perfectly - no further fittings are required.

The SKS Hybrid mudguards are suitable for tyre widths of 38-45mm and could be used on your 700x37 tyres to give 'over the top' protection, but may be a bit bulky.
To give adequate protection and retain some semblance of 'sleekness' I would recommend that you use the SKS Wide road mudguards - designed for 700x 28-37mm tyres.
